St. James at the Park, the 16-story condominium high-rise in Cincinnati's Walnut Hills neighborhood, has called upon the expertise of HGC Construction and its Structural Systems Repair Group (SSRG) to restore and repair the 20-year-old structure. Work began this month on restoration and repairs of the 52-unit condominium building that rises near Eden Park with expansive views overlooking the Ohio River. It is located at 2121 Alpine Place.
"This project fits well within the scope of work for which SSRG and its parent company, HGC Construction, have demonstrated exceptional capabilities," said Mike Breetz, president of SSRG. "We specialize in comprehensive structural repair that extends the lifespan of structures, and we tackle the most challenging structural issues with innovative technology."
The restorative construction at St. James at the Park will include:
- Repair of the exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS)
- Penthouse balcony waterproofing
- Balcony re-profiling
- Window replacement
- Garage wall concrete patching and repairs
- Sealant replacement
The project team that HGC/SSRG has assembled for the work includes Project Managers Tony Akers and Josh Hollis, Lead Carpenter Will Horn and Carpenter Jason Howard.
The work at St. James at the Park is expected to be completed in September.
